The only thing I don't like about this device is where the button is located to adjust the brightness. It should be on top but is on the side, meaning that you have to lift it up to dim it or brighten it. Another thing that is annoying is that at night it goes black at night at 1:00 A.M, 2:00 A.M., 3:00 A.M., 4:00 A.M., and 5:00 A.M. for seven minutes to supposedly adjust the atomic clock. Seems pointless. Other clocks don't have to do that. The weather part seems great.

Honestly, the only reason I bought this thing was because I wanted to be able to see the temperature in my garage (it's detached, has a heater I can switch on and off remotely, but no way to tell whether it's warmed up enough without going out there). You would think there would just be a standalone wifi sensor you could buy and view with a smartphone app, and there sort of are, but they're all designed for greenhouses and have a bunch of stuff I don't need, and the apps are all designed around helping you grow stuff. I just want to see what the temp is!
Anyway, I don't actually need it to be on my phone, and buying something like this with a remote sensor seemed like the cheapest and least troublesome option. So far, so good. It maintains good contact with the remote sensor in the garage, and the temp seems pretty accurate (I tested it inside the house for a while, and it was always within a degree of my Nest thermostat when I placed them next to each other). And having all the other weather info available isn't a bad thing, even if I didn't go looking for it. It's actually kind of nice to have it available in the bathroom in the morning.
The screen is very clear when viewed head-on, the advantage of using a screen with static light-up icons instead of a dot matrix, I guess. However it's not great when viewed at shallow angles. Shouldn't be a problem as long as you're not mounting it somewhere a lot higher or lower than head level.
I saw some reviews mention that the date was in day/month order rather than month/day like we'd more typically use in the U.S. The one I received actually lets you set it either way - some of the review pictures look slightly different than mine, so I think there might have been some different models in circulation. So that might not be a problem if you get the same one I did.
One thing I would have wanted different is the option to plug in an AC adapter on the remote sensor rather than using batteries. In my mind batteries are just a nuisance unless you really need the portability, or don't have AC power where it's going to be. I do have power, so I'd rather plug it in and never need to touch it again. So, I bought a 3 volt AC adapter, cut the plug off, and soldered the leads to the battery terminals in the sensor unit. I've said goodbye to my warranty, but it works and it's on a surge protector and there's little risk of harm as long as the adapter doesn't break down and put out the wrong voltage or something. To quote Top Gear, I'm not saying you SHOULD do that, I'm just saying you CAN do that. :)

It worked right out of the box. Put batteries in both the remote sensor and the device. Plugged it in and immediately it connected to the remote sensor. It started trying to connect to the WWVB radio. I'm a long way from the broadcast so I don't necessarily expect it to connect right away. Setting the date and time manually was easy. It's accurate. I have a laser sight thermometer and the temperature indoors and at the remote sensor were right on. The screen is bright and easy to read. I like that I can snooze it and can light it back up with one tap. I like that it shows the current moon phase. I really like this weather station.
*Update:
After I put the station in a window, the date and time successfully updated from the WWVB radio!
Barometer dropped and it accurately predicted rain.

Ok. I know what you're thinking. Why buy this when you can look up the weather on your phone?
You buy this because it's accurate as heck and is far more useful than any other device out there that could take up the space on your nightstand. Since unboxing and setting this thing up, I've loved being able to roll over after the alarm has woken me and give this thing a glance and know exactly what I'm in for in terms of Texas weather. Love the display size and the fact that all the information is available to me on one screen. I get pretty bad barometric pressure migraines and this device has accurately predicted them for me twice this week.

This weather station does exactly what I wanted - it shows me indoor and outdoor temp and humidity and I tested it versus another sensor I have with ecobee and it’s very close so appears accurate
The backlight is very bright and it includes both power cable as well as battery backup. It’s smart enough that when I disconnect the power it dims the backlight on battery, and has a touch button on top to light up for 10-15 seconds on battery power to make it easy to read while still conserving battery. As a bonus, it includes a USB port for charging
It has a couple nice details I like. The outdoor sensor transmits the temperature and humidity to the main unit and in addition has a small display window with temperature and humidity on the outdoor sensor itself. This is a big improvement over other ones I’ve used where the only way to get the reading was to go back to the main display. It has a battery warning on the main display for the outdoor sensor as well so you know to change the battery before it dies.
Finally it has a frost sensor and max temperature sensor which will beep once a minute to warn you of extreme temperatures to help with sprinklers, faucets etc which need to be protected in low temperatures
One more thing - it has a date and time display as well as alarm clock, and sets the time automatically. I am quickly becoming a fan of clocks with automatic setting of time - this one says it syncs 3x a day and will retry if the auto time set fails. Not something I can really verify but the auto set time worked fine - it says it can take 7 minutes the first time. I didn’t time it but it sounds about right it
Overall very happy with it - does what I wanted and has some nice additional features as well

This weather station has a bright clear display that is easy to read. It is capable of supporting three remote sensors.. You can set it to display one sensor or to scan all three and display each for five seconds. Since I am using only two, it displays no reading for the third sensor. I would like to be able to exclude the unused sensor from the rotation, but that is not possible. The readings seem to be accurate and consistent. I have the display on a desk top and plugged in so the display is always on. I elected to put it on a desk rather than hanging it on a wall because I didn't want a wire dangling down to an outlet and I didn't want to have to turn it on every time I wanted to look at it. It works well on the desk and I am happy with it.

I had been looking to replace an older LaCrosse weather station that I had. I decided to give a new brand a trey since I had a lot of problems with my old one staying connected to its remote sensor.
This one was fairly easy to set up. You basically have to just let it sit once you get the sensor paired up and your time zone set. Then after a little while it will get the correct time and date and everything. Mine took about a half hour or so before everything was correct on it. I checked it against the National Weather service and the temperatures were +/- 2 degrees which is perfectly acceptable to me. The humidity levels can be a bit further off. I have seen anywhere from +/- 5-10% on those readings. Evan that is perfectly acceptable. I know sometimes these weather stations need a little while to get fully acclimated and give better readings. The forecast has also been pretty accurate so far as well.
I think the screen looks great. If you are really high above or below it or really far off to the side you might have a problem reading it. But I have it sitting on my desk and I have no problem reading it, even if I stand up.
I also love that you can switch back and forth between the date and a seconds counter in the clock area. My work counts time right down to the second, so its nice to have that option.
My only small gripe is that I wish the time and temperature boxes were a little more balanced out. You have these huge boxes for temperature and humidity and then this little teeny box in the bottom corner with the time. Maybe make the temp and humidity a little smaller to make the time a little bigger. Other than that, I am very satisfied!

We always wondering temperature and humidity indoor and outdoor. We usually rely on weather forecast, but it is usually not accurate. Since started to work from home, I have become sensitive to these information. If it is too hot, I need to turn on AC. When I focus on work, I have to be comfortable to be productive. This product is really help, it contain a lot of information. Most of them are fairly accurate as far as I know. It really help me out during around this time of the year.

Nice looking weather display, setup is quite simple as there is not much to set up, instructions are straightforward and written in English. Temperatures readings are exact, I checked mine using an IR gun, taking temp readings of both indoor and outdoor units, temps matched exactly with displayed degrees. I have read reviews with temps being off, Outdoor sensor must NOT be in direct sunlight, read the instructions, mine is north facing and 6' off the ground. The indoor unit is centrally located in the house. Not on a window sill like another reviewer stated temps being off. The display, when the device is plugged into the AC outlet, is very bright and colorful, and very well lit. Everything functions exactly is it supposed to.

Love how it tells you inside and outside temps. Very informative. Big and brute enough to read across the room. Easy to install.

Bought this for our cabin to help guess the weather . We don't have access to weather when we go and this helps us guess what to plan for

Im so happy with this weather station! I had 2 from big brands and both were so bad. This one is bright and easy to read!

Very pleased ! Easy to use. Power plug on back of unit is a little loose, had problems getting power pack to have a good contact. After a few re-plug ins it made contact and power is now working.

I purchased this station to be able to keep up with the weather and mainly the current temperature. The unit came nicely and securely packaged. Was easy to set up and quick to be able to use. It came with a power adapter for the display unit which I chose to hang on the wall. Display is large and easy to read even at some distance. There is a nice forecasting feature to help to see what changes might occur during the day. I also find the moon phase section to be informative and kind of nice to know. Unit is economically priced and well worth the money paid. If you are looking for a sleek design in a weather monitor then this is the one for you.

This weather station does exactly what it says. I love the brightness of the screen, however you can customize it to the brightness level you want. I put it up in my bedroom originally, but decided I like it better on my main level where I am most often, and the last place I’ll be before I head outside. My one thought is that I wish the clock was a little bigger but I didn’t order a clock, so I’m not complaining. I did use the alarm clock the first night (I set my phone alarm too just in case) but it wasn’t necessary. The alarm went off in the morning and it woke me up, but it wasn’t an obnoxious sound. The temps/humidity readings are very accurate. The directions were easy to follow. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars overall because nothing is ever perfect but this is pretty close!

After reading all the good reviews about the Flex Weather Station I decided to go ahead and order it. It arrived within a few days of placing the order. I have it sitting on my piano and I love it. The instructions that came with it are well written. You will need to spend the time and carefully read the instruction to get the most out of the Weather Station. The wireless outdoor sensor works like a charm. Simply put the batteries in and it will begin to sync up with the Weather Station. The Weather Station has many features. Some of them I won't take advantage of. I love how it looks sitting on my piano. The display looks beautiful. It's big and you can adjust it's brightness to the level that suits you the best. I have it plugged in because I enjoy seeing the display lit up all the time. I have already recommended it to my friends. I give it 5 Stars.
